Denis Brahney, died on 20th September 1998 aged 65.
Dad, the light went from our lives the day you died. You were too young, needed and much loved. We all miss you very, very much. You made each and every one of us feel truly special. You were a great husband, Dad and Grandad. We all think of every single day, and all wish you were with us right now.
For me Dad, I wish I could just talk to you and hold you, for you to cuddle me and say 'it will all be ok Jo' for just those few words in your arms made me feel able to cope with anything. I love you and miss you Dad more than words can say and more than you will ever know. I honour you by remembering the times we shared, the good times, the bad times, the sad times, and the hilarious times Dad, when we couldn't stop laughing till we ached, till we couldn't breathe! The times we fought and were mad at each other, but forgiveness and acceptance were always there. My Dad, the bestest Dad in the world. All my love forever, Jojo xxx
